The ERSW Awards Ball 2010
- About the Evening
About the Evening
The 2010 Epsom Owners’ & Trainers’ Awards Dinner was held on 20th November and marked the 12th anniversary of the event. This year’s event was made extra special by the association of Darley with the night, for which the ERSW is very proud and grateful.
As with last year’s Awards Dinner, the Duchess’ Stand, Epsom Downs Racecourse was the venue for the event, with nearly 300 guests attending, including many of racing’s well known faces.
Guests wishing to stay over after the event received a special booking rate at the Holiday Inn Express, Epsom.
The night followed a similar format to previous events (with a champagne reception, 4 course meal, Raffle, Auction and Awards Ceremony, followed by live music, dancing and a fun casino.
The photography was kindly provided by Dick Marsh. The final figure is yet to be confirmed but early indications show that nearly £30K was raised for the charity.
The Racing Post article following the event can be read here
A huge thank you to everyone who attended – your ongoing support is very much appreciated and vital to the success of the charity’s work – improving the welfare and conditions for racing stable staff in Epsom.
A date for the 2011 Awards Ball will shortly be added to this site.- Awards & Winners
